The Kids Exchange
now assigns sale specific 'Sorting Numbers'.
This is in addition to the Seller's Barcode
number that is used for accounting and never
changes. Each Seller attending a given sale
will be assigned a number for that sale when
they first print tags off the website after
a previous sale has concluded. This number
will be used when sorting your unsold items
back into you 'sorting number' at the end
of the sale - allowing for accurate and dependable
Seller pickup of unsold items. When printing
tags for the next sale - after a previous
sale - your sorting number will automatically
be printed on the bottom right corner of your
tags. IF you wish to sell an items previously
tagged with an previous sale's sorting number
- or a tag with NO sorting number - you will
need to 'Print Sorting Stickers' onto return
address labels and place these stickers over
the bottom right corner of your tags, covering
the old sorting number or blank corner. Using
these stickers are only necessary if you are
using old tags - not printed after the previous
sale has concluded. You can purchase Avery
Return Address lables or any generic name
brand that is comparable to Avery's return
address labels. We created this option to
aid Seller in not re-tagging items that were
tagged with a previous sale's sorting number.
If you sell an item with a previous sale's
sorting number - and the item does not sell
- the item will not be sorted for you to pick
up. Please keep in mind that any item tagged
with white card stock - is marked for charity
if unsold and does not need a sorting number.
Please note: If your stickers are not lining
up correctly when printed onto your label
sheets, please check the 'Page Scaling setting'
in Adobe Reader's Print screen. It should
be set to 'None'. This is the screen that
appears when you click the Print icon when
the labels are on your screen. This is also
the screen that let's you change the number
of copies if desired. If the 'scaling' is
set to something other than 'None', the size
of the labels will be changed and will not
line up properly on the sheet. The 'Page Scaling
Setting' option will not appear until the
print page appears. Simply confirm that the
"Page Scaling Setting" is "NONE". If you continue
to have problem with printing your sorting
stickers, please contact Amy@KidsExchange.net
